Cloudflare Workers BuildsがEvent Subscriptionsによるビルド通知に対応

Cloudflare Workers BuildsがQueuesへのイベント発行に対応し、Event Subscriptionsを利用してビルドの開始、成功、失敗、キャンセル時の通知を受け取れるようになった。 Queueからメッセージを読み取るWorkerを作成することで、Slack、Discord、Email、Webhookなど任意の宛先に通知を送信可能。

CloudflareはSlack通知用のテンプレートを提供しており、以下の機能を含む。

  • 成功したデプロイのPreview/Live URLを含むビルドステータス表示
  • 失敗したビルドのインラインエラーメッセージ
  • ブランチ、コミットハッシュ、作者名の表示

利用にはworkers-builds-notifications-templateなどを自身のCloudflareアカウントにデプロイする。

Cloudflare Containers 、エッジで動作するコンテナをパブリックベータ提供

Cloudflare が Workers と統合された Containers サービスをパブリックベータとして有料プランユーザーに提供開始。Workers と並行して新しいタイプのアプリケーションを実行可能になる。

Containers はグローバルに展開され、Region にデプロイするだけで世界中の最適な場所でコンテナが起動する。Workers コードによってコンテナインスタンスがオンデマンドで制御され、カスタムロジックは JavaScript で記述できる。開発ワークフローは Workers と同様に wrangler deploy で完結する。

利用例として、ユーザー生成コードのサンドボックス実行、FFmpeg を使った動画から GIF への変換、cron ジョブでのコンテナ実行、静的フロントエンドとコンテナ化バックエンドの組み合わせなどが可能。Durable Objects、Workflows、Queues、R2 などの他の Cloudflare サービスとも統合される。

料金はメモリ、CPU、ディスクの使用時間に基づく従量課金制。dev（256MiB、1/16vCPU）、basic（1GiB、1/4vCPU）、standard（4GiB、1/2vCPU）の 3 つのインスタンスタイプを提供。Workers Standard プランには月間利用量が含まれる。
